Where we visit

In-Home Physiotherapy Service Areas

PhysioHelps is a mobile physiotherapy practice: the therapist travels to you. There is no clinic address and no waiting room. This page sets out the communities in the service area across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Waterloo Region, Perth County and Huron County.

  • Mobile, service-area practice — treatment happens where you live
  • Published fees across the service area, with receipts for extended health plans
  • Address and availability confirmed before a visit is booked

How coverage works

A service area, not a location

A mobile practice is defined by the area it covers rather than by a building. Scheduling and availability depend on the address, so both are confirmed with you before anything is booked.

No clinic to attend

There is no PhysioHelps clinic in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge or anywhere else. Assessment and treatment happen in the home, retirement suite or supportive living setting where the person lives.

Availability confirmed first

Availability depends on the schedule and the address. Call or send an enquiry and possible times for your location will be confirmed with you directly.

One therapist throughout

Care is provided by Hiren Patel, Registered Physiotherapist. The same clinician returns each visit, wherever in the service area you live.

Communities

Communities in the service area

Each community below is part of the current service area. Visits are one-on-one and take place at the patient's own address.

Kitchener

Kitchener is within the service area for in-home assessment and treatment. Visits take place in the patient's own home, apartment or retirement suite, using the stairs, chairs, bed and bathroom they actually use each day.

  • Private homes, townhouses, apartments and retirement residences
  • One-on-one visits with a Registered Physiotherapist
  • Address and availability confirmed before a visit is booked

Waterloo

Waterloo addresses are visited on the same basis. Where a patient lives in an apartment or retirement residence, the assessment can include the routes inside the building they need to use, such as corridors and elevators, where access is permitted.

  • Suite-based sessions in apartments and retirement residences
  • Building corridors and shared routes reviewed where access permits
  • Same published fees as elsewhere in the service area

Cambridge

Cambridge is part of the service area for home visits. What the visit covers depends on the individual assessment — entrances, steps, indoor walking routes and transfers are reviewed where they are relevant to that person's goals.

  • Entrances, steps and indoor routes reviewed where relevant
  • Home exercise program and caregiver education with consent
  • Receipts provided for extended health plan submission
